Cultivating Global Perspective Through Self-Reflection
Few would disagree that our current reality represents an unprecedented interconnected social, political, and economic society. In order to achieve success in school and work in today’s world, students must cultivate cultural competency and the ability to communicate across differences with mutual respect. One of the primary goals of Global Education aims to cultivate empathy, connect with different groups, and drive innovation, both domestically and internationally. Research finds that this work begins with a strong sense of one’s own identity. Our interactive keynote will develop a common Global Education Framework and explore personal and identity framework to enhance Global Education efforts.
