Free International Teacher Tour (the “Sweepstakes”)

OFFICIAL RULES

1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
2. SPONSOR: This Sweepstakes is sponsored by EF Institute for Cultural Exchange, Inc. and EF Explore America, Inc. (collectively the “Sponsor”) both with its principal place of business at Two Education Circle, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA.
3. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is only open to educators who have never led a tour with EF Educational Tours or EF Explore America. Educators are defined as full or part-time teachers, faculty or administrators at the middle school, junior high school, or senior high school level who are legal residents of the United States and who are over the age of 21 as of the date of entry. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Employees and their immediate family and household members of Sponsor or its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, or suppliers are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
4. Sweepstakes ENTRY Period: Entries will be accepted starting on February 10, 2025, at 9am ET and ending March 9, 2025 at 11:59pm ET. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, cancel, or suspend the Sweepstakes entry period in its sole discretion.
5. HOW TO ENTER: To enter you must either (i) call EF Educational Tours at 1-800-637-8222 or EF Explore America at 1-800-503-2323 and express interest in the Sweepstakes, (ii) visit eftours.com/win to find the corresponding link to participate, or (iii) fill out a lead generation form from one of our social media posts.  You will receive one (1) entry for taking the previously mentioned actions. The entry must fulfill all Sweepstakes requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. You may enter only once. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple email addresses, identities, or devices in an attempt to circumvent the rules. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
6. Prizes: The Winner(s) of the Sweepstakes (the “Winner”) will be able to select their preferred Training Tour from a list of eligible locations and dates provided by EF Educational Tours or EF Explore America. The Training Tour includes all program, and departure fees (including roundtrip airfare, up to 3 nights overnight stays in hotels, and select meals). All elements of the Training Tour, including but not limited to flights, hotels and included meals shall be solely determined and booked by EF Educational Tours, EF Explore America or its affiliates. The prize does not include any optional excursion fees, insurance fees, money for gratuities, meals other than the select ones provided, or additional optional travel. The Training Tour must be taken by September 30, 2026. All travelers must execute all enrollment materials including the Release and Agreement, Booking Conditions, and any other required travel documents. All travelers must be in possession of the needed travel documents (e.g., a valid U.S. Passport, proof of vaccination, etc.) when required to travel internationally and must meet all visa entry requirements (if applicable). Actual/appraised value may differ at time of prize award. A total of 1 winner(s) will be selected. The specifics of the prize shall be solely determined by Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Sponsor’s discretion. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
7. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
8. Winner Selection and Notification: Winner will be selected by a random drawing under the supervision of Sponsor. Winner will be notified by email or telephone within five (5) days following the end of the Sweepstakes and selection of Winner. Sponsor shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within ten (10) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT SPONSOR’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
9. Rights Granted by You: By entering the Sweepstakes (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.), you understand and agree that Sponsor, anyone acting on behalf of Sponsor, and Sponsor’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
10. Terms & Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Sponsor may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or website or violates these Terms & Conditions and Official Rules. Sponsor has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Sweepstakes, to void entries for any reason, including, but not limited to multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by the Sweepstakes rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation force majeure events, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.In such event, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received (if any) prior to the event that resulted in the cancellation, termination, modification or suspension.

11. Limitation of Liability: By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or their acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
12. Disputes: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without respect for the conflict of laws doctrine. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

14. WINNERS LIST: To obtain a copy of the Winner’s name or a copy of these Official Rules, mail your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: EF Educational Tours or EF Explore America, Two Education Circle, Cambridge, MA 02141, USA. Requests must be received no later than April 30, 2025 at 5pm ET.
15. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS: The Sweepstakes is sponsored by EF Educational Tours and EF Explore America and is in no way sponsored, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or TikTok.
16. AGREEMENT TO THE OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, you agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Official Rules, and you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of the Sponsor as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Sweepstakes.
