The scholarship application process is open to all current Superintendents who are active members of NYSCOSS. Up to five full scholarships will be awarded for travel on EF’s Professional Learning Scholarship Tour.
The theme of the 2020 tour is "The Impact of Sports and Wellness" and will take place in Northern Italy (Milan and Venice) and at the Global Leadership Summit in Davos, Switzerland. The tour will take place from July 12, 2020 through July 22, 2020.
At the Summit, you will join educators and students from across North America and Europe for a three-day leadership conference. While on a professional learning track, you will hear from world-renowned speakers on The Impact of Sports & Wellness, attend expert-led workshops, and help students develop skills like creativity and collaboration as they work in small international teams to propose solutions to a global challenge. Previous Summit speakers have included Jane Goodall, Al Gore, Sir Ken Robinson and Anthony Bourdain.
Applications will be evaluated based on applicants’ commitment to global education initiatives in New York
Application deadline: Tuesday October 1, 2019.
