1. ELIGIBILITY: The 2020 EF Tours Teacher Appreciation Promotion (the “Giveaway”) is sponsored by EF Institute for Cultural Exchange, Inc. (the “Sponsor”) and is open to legal residents and teachers in the fifty United States and District of Columbia (collectively, the “U.S.”) who are over the age of eighteen (18). (“Eligible Entries”). You must be 13 or older to nominate an Eligible Entry for this Giveaway. (“Participants”). Employees (and their immediate families and household members) of Sponsor and its affiliates are not eligible to participate in this Giveaway.
2. PROMOTION PERIOD: The Giveaway starts at 12:00:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“ET”) on or after April 8, 2020 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on May 7, 2020. Sponsor retains the right to extend or shorten the Promotion Period in its sole discretion.
3. HOW TO ENTER: There is no purchase necessary. Participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. Participants should submit brief write-up, sharing why your teacher should be nominated as educator of the year, along with completing the form included on https://landing.eftours.com/CallingAllSuperteachers. Limit one entry per person, regardless of entry method. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are prohibited and will be automatically disqualified. Eligible Entries will be informed of their entry in the Giveaway and given the opportunity to opt out prior to the section of the finalists.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS. Six finalists, one of whom will be the Grand Prize Winner, will be selected by a panel of judges designated by Sponsor. Finalists will be selected based on the number of times they are nominated and the quality of the nominations. This selection will take place on or around April 15, 2020. The Grand Prize winner will be selected on 11:50:50 p.m. ET on May 7, 2020. The Grand Prize Winner will be selected based on which finalist has the largest quantity of votes. All decisions are final. The winners will be notified by mail, e-mail, or phone with further instructions on how to claim the prize. All winners agree to be bound by these rules and the failure to execute and return any requested document(s) within 14 days of receipt, or the return of notification of prize as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of prize and an alternate potential winner being selected at the sole discretion of Sponsors’ management. Unclaimed prizes may not be awarded. All winners will be required to execute EF’s Release and Agreement, Booking Conditions, and any other enrollment forms or travel documents provided in connection with the prize.
5. PRIZES. Out of the 6 finalists, The Sponsor will award 5 runner up winners a $500 donation for their school. The Sponsor will award the Grand Prize Winner 1 grand prize of a $2,500 donation for their school and a voucher redeemable on one tour or program, valued at up to $7500 for him/her and 1 guest to use on one of the following EF products:

- EF Ultimate Break
- EF Go Ahead Tours
- EF Language Schools
6. GENERAL CONDITIONS. This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. This Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. No cash alternative or substitution of any prizes will be permitted and the voucher will be considered redeemed regardless of the total cost of the tour selected. No prize transfer is permitted. All taxes, fees, and surcharges on the prizes are the sole responsibility of the winners. By participating and/or accepting a prize, so long as there is no legal prohibition, Participants agree to the use of their first name, last initial, photos, and city/state of residence for advertising or publicity purposes and to the use of statements made by or attributed to the eligible student relating to Sponsor, its parents or affiliated companies, or this Giveaway, and release any and all rights to said use without further compensation. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees that his/her name and address may be disclosed to state regulators, and that his/her first name and last initial and city/state of residence may be disclosed to those who request a winners’ list. You accept and agree to be bound by EF Tours’ Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable terms and agreements.
By submitting the entry, the entrant agrees that Sponsor and its affiliates, agents and others working for them or on their behalf shall have the right to photograph, audiotape, and/or video record the winner, and entry constitutes permission to use the submitted video and its content, the winner’s first name and last initial, pictures, likeness, and city and state of residence(s) in advertising for no additional compensation.
If, for any reason, the Giveaway is not able to run as planned, including without limitation events of force majeure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsors which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway, Sponsors reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Giveaway.
